More about Dr. Mitran's personal philosophy and work ethic:

I was always taught to “suck it up, buttercup.” I was also unconventionally told to go to school, get married and have children- and I bought in...kinda. Before I graduated undergrad, I was married at nineteen years old. Little did I know I am an HSP; and my husband has (what some refer to as) Asperger’s. Growing up, I had no idea that neurodiversity was a thing. Instead, I just thought I never quite fit into the status quo. With little skills, knowledge, or understanding of what my life had been or what it would look like ongoing, I was in for a challenging, often unbearable, and wildly unconventional ride.

Since 2007, my life has been dedicated to research, graduate school, clinical hours, assessments, endless years of self-reflections, iterations, and extensive (and very expensive) conversations with experts around the country.

Today I live happily in San Francisco, CA, with my high-school-sweetheart-"original"-husband and two fun-loving rescue pups, Frodo and Neo. I definitely didn’t get where I am today overnight. Quite the opposite…

“My mission is to give inspiration and actionable advice so you can build your own meaningful and functioning partnerships.”

I only teach you what I have actually done and mastered. So, in each session, I’ll share with you my insights from experienced and research-backed steps. What I did, currently do, mistakes to avoid and behind the scenes details for mastering growth.

Today, I teach intelligent, ambitious (often with some form of diverse processing) people like you how to start and grow meaningful partnerships. I’ve helped hundreds of couples revamp their relationships by breaking down what didn’t work to discover what might. My goal is to inspire you and show you that anything is possible. If you want to change and are willing to do the work, I can help you!

What most providers, coaches, therapists, counselors haven’t told you…

Unlike most, I didn’t earn my badge through certifications, organized trainings, or by following some other provider's program.

Instead, I did it the old-fashioned way…through real-life experiences, like the kind that hits failure repeatedly before success.

Which is how I can say with 100% confidence…

Up until now, you’ve probably only gotten bits and pieces of how to build the partnership you are looking for. But never the complete picture. And not only is this preventing you from hitting your goals, but it’s making it harder for you to grow past your current situation.
“Because as they say, what you have here won’t get you there.”

I’m not here to give you motivational quotes. I’m here to provide you with practical advice. So let’s talk about the gap between your here (current situation) and your there (what you want)…

At nineteen years old, married and trying to navigate being in a neurodiverse partnership, I thought I could continue living life in a “normal” way. From the outside, I had created the picture-perfect life. Job, husband, house, white picket fence- I was living the life I had been told to live.

But I had a BIG problem…

I could already see a bottleneck looming in my plan. Overstimulated, overworked, misunderstood, and under-resourced, we were miserable. If I wanted things to change, I had to figure out a different way for me, and for us.

I had to make time and find the resources to test and figure out well, everything. As in, every single piece (of the entire puzzle) of what it would look like to understand myself, my relationship, the trajectory of my life trying to “fit in.”

I no longer try to "fit in" and understand the value of embracing difference.

All it took to figure it out?

Fifteen years of my life, over ten-thousand client hours, clinical training and licensure, hundreds of thousands of dollars spent, twenty-nine countries traveled. Not to mention practiced mastery through client work in countless couple dynamics and a Ph.D.

As you’ve seen, it takes a lot of time and resources to figure it out on your own. That’s why most couples never see what's possible. We probably wouldn’t have either if I hadn’t had a unique set of advantages:

I have in-depth clinical and research experience, German work ethic, training in education, advanced pattern recognition skills, analytical and systematic mindset, and experience testing and spending countless hours to figure things out.

On top of that, personally…

I have a genuine passion for problem-solving, social-emotional learning, and desire to understand relationship dynamics, so I happily spend most of my time thinking about, learning and testing new theories and techniques.

And...I don’t have kids.

If you don’t have years to dedicate to navigating a neurodiverse partnership or have hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest in education and resources to break through barriers, it’s okay.

This is the reason I consult with clients.

You get to shortcut all of that with my hard-earned knowledge and experience at your disposal.
